Delegates Conference 2006
The Delegates Conference (DC) defines the priorities of project and campaign activities and make proposals for the future work of the Terre des hommes Germany. The DC is therefore the decision-making body of Tdh and a serious attempt to take further steps on the way from partner dialogue to partner codecision.
The Delegates Conference gathers every 3 years. It consists of delegates of voluntary action groups, members from the Board, delegates of the staff and the delegates of project partners. The voluntary delegates are elected by the regional conferences, by campaigning teams and by the specialist groups. The delegates of the staff consist of the management and other elected persons. 2 of the 12 representatives from the staff are elected from the regional offices. The delegates of project partners are elected at the regional meetings of the project partners in South Asia, South East Asia, South Africa, Southern Sahel, Central America and South America .
